The six-year-old from Scotsburn was one of many at the field day on Hardwood Hill Road. The event celebrated the Crawford’s Woodland Owner of the Year in Central Nova Scotia award from the Department of Natural Resources. The festivities ran from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. and featured tours of the property, door prizes, a barbeque, a tree carving demonstration and many other family activities.
