A Dartmouth gas station was robbed Sunday by a man who covered his face with a blue scarf, police say.

The robbery happened at about 5:30 p.m. at the Petro Canada at 610 Portland St.

According to police, a man walked into the gas station with his face covered by the scarf, and handed a plastic bag to the clerk, asking for money.

He received a small amount of cash and then left on foot.

The clerk, and 18-year-old woman, wasn’t injured. No weapons were seen.

The suspect is described as being between the ages of 30 and 40, five-foot-five with a heavy build. He was wearing a blue hoodie, red toque and black gloves.
