NEW GLASGOW – The Town of New Glasgow is lending its support to help fill a book of condolence in honour of Nelson Mandela.

Francis Paris, a member of Second United Baptist, spent his lunchtime for a week at the church to give people in the community a chance to sign it.

At Monday night’s council meeting Mayor Barrie MacMillan, as well as other town councillors and staff signed the book. They will be keeping it at the town hall and offering residents the chance to sign it during business hours today (Wednesday).
