Freezing rain warning for Pictou County continued

 

An extended period of freezing rain is expected.

 

This is a warning that an extended period of freezing rain is occurring in these regions. Monitor weather conditions..listen for updated statements.

 

A trough of low pressure just south of Nova Scotia will slowly move northward today. Freezing drizzle, freezing rain and ice pellets will eventually change to rain from south to north as temperatures climb above zero. There is the possibility Northern Nova Scotia including Cape Breton could see temperatures remain below freezing today and tonight.
