While there is lots of snow on the ground this morning, the weather will head up to plus 2 C later in the day. The poor road conditions haven't stopped a few cancellations however:

February 19, 2014: All CCRSB schools are closed today

CCRSB News - February 19, 2014  -All schools in the Chignecto-Central Regional School Board are closed today due to road conditions. This also means that all planned after-school and extracurricular activities are also cancelled. 


Today, 19 February

Snow ending early this morning then cloudy with 40 percent chance of flurries. Becoming a mix of sun and cloud early this afternoon. Amount 2 to 4 cm. Wind southeast 30 km/h gusting to 50 becoming light early this morning. Wind becoming west 20 gusting to 40 this morning. High plus 2.

Tonight, 19 February

Cloudy. Periods of snow beginning after midnight. Amount 5 to 10 cm. Wind east 20 km/h becoming northeast 20 gusting to 40 after midnight. Low minus 2.

Thursday, 20 February

Periods of snow ending late in the morning then cloudy with 60 percent chance of flurries. Amount 5 cm. Wind northeast 20 km/h gusting to 40 becoming northwest 30 gusting to 50 in the morning. High plus 1.

Friday, 21 February

Periods of snow or rain. Low minus 7. High plus 3.

Saturday, 22 February

A mix of sun and cloud. Low plus 1. High 6.

Sunday, 23 February

A mix of sun and cloud. Low minus 1. High plus 5.

Monday, 24 February

A mix of sun and cloud with 40 percent chance of flurries. Low minus 8. High minus 3.

Tuesday, 25 February

Cloudy with 60 percent chance of flurries. Low minus 10. High minus 4.
