SCOTSBURN – RCMP have arrested a Pictou County man for impaired driving after a motor vehicle crash in Scotsburn on Sunday.
Pictou County District RCMP responded to a single vehicle rollover on O. Maclean Road on Feb. 23 at approximately 6:30 p.m. The 30-year-old driver and lone occupant of the vehicle was arrested at the scene. He sustained non life-threatening injuries.
The cause is still under investigation.
RCMP are reminding drivers that impaired driving is one of the leading causes of serious injury and fatal collisions in Nova Scotia.
They ask people to call 911 if they suspect someone is operating a motor vehicle while impaired.
That includes automobiles, all-terrain vehicles, snowmobiles, vessels and aircraft.
