Adult male arrested for property damage in New Glasgow

On Friday evening at approximately 6:30 p.m. New Glasgow Regional Police Service received a call that windows were being smashed at the Salvation Army in New Glasgow.

Patrol officers, along with New Glasgow Regional Police K-9 Unit and Forensic Identification Unit immediately located and arrested an adult male.

As a result police charged the 47-year-old adult male from Pictou County with property damage.

The accused will appear in provincial court in Pictou in May.

    How pathetic - a 47 year old man doing this. I often wonder how, after a long work week how these people have the idea, let alone the time or energy to do these senseless acts. He should be made to work at the Salvation Army to make up for what he has done...as he probably doesn't work if he has time for this destruction.
