Linacy man pleads not guilty to stealing company truck

PICTOU  – A Linacy man will stand trial in August on a charge of stealing a truck from a local roofing company in December.

Dale Kass MacInnis, 33, has pleaded not guilty to the charge of stealing a Thompson Brothers Roofing and Siding truck on Dec. 23, 2013. 

His trial will take place Aug. 21 in Pictou Provincial Court.

A co-accused, Brett Edward Hennessey, 19, of New Glasgow, who is also charged in relation to the same alleged incident, will have his trial heard in June.  Hennessey is also charged with breach of probation and an alleged theft valued at less than $5,000 from an incident in January.
