Man faces charge of trafficking in hyrdromorphone

PICTOU – A New Glasgow man has chosen to have his case heard in Supreme Court.

However, 53-year-old Anthony Joseph Shea will return to Pictou Provincial Court on July 30 for a preliminary inquiry to determine if there is enough evidence for the case to proceed to trial in Supreme Court.

Shea is charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking hydromorphone and breach of probation charges in relation to his arrest on Jan. 13 in New Glasgow.
