Four teachers at West Pictou Consolidated School recently went beyond the call of duty for the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation.
The teachers agreed to either dye their hair purple or shave it into a Mohawk in an effort to raise money for Crohn’s and Colitis. Those who raised enough money and did the hairy deed include, from the left: Stephanie Watson, Dana DeMings, Phil Hollis and Jasmine Webster. Watson and Webster went for the purple hair dye while DeMings and Hollis agreed to the head shaving ceremony. Other photo shows the shedding of locks underway. The teachers also agreed to wear these hair styles for a week. Sueann Musick – The News
