Woman faces trial for alleged intent to commit crime

PICTOU – A New Glasgow woman has pleaded not guilty to entering a house in New Glasgow with the intent to commit a crime.

Jacqueline Anne Vandermeer, 26, was charged this past March in connection with an alleged incident in New Glasgow. She is also charged with possessing stolen property valued at less than $5,000.

Her trial will take place Sept. 8 in Pictou provincial court.
