At about 5 p.m., RCMP and the Bible Hill Fire Brigade responded to a structure fire on Bob Lee Drive.

The offices of the Nova Scotia medical examiner and Fire Marshal are assisting investigators. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.

The identity of the deceased is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.

Valley-Kemptown firefighters also assisted, while firefighters from Truro were on standby at the Bible Hill station. RCMP, EHS and Nova Scotia Power were also on scene.
