NEW GLASGOW - Central Nova Liberal candidate Dr. John Hamilton official opened his New Glasgow campaign office Saturday afternoon.

Joining Hamilton to meet supporters was Ontario MP Martha Hall Findlay.

"We invited Findlay down," said Hamilton. "It is always useful to have a national perspective on things."

Hall Findlay said she was happy to be there.

"A number of us in the party are asked to go and help from a national campaign perspective, I was asked to come and spend three days in Eastern Canada," she said.

Hall Findlay has been a transport, infrastructure and communities, public works and international trade critic for the Liberals.

Both Hamilton and Hall Findlay discussed issues with the more 100 supporters at the Provost Street location.

"We talked about the stark choices facing Canadians this election," said Hall Findlay, adding the Conservative have introduced the four largest spending budgets in Canadian history. The money spent for the G8 summit last year is an example of how the government has wasted large sums of taxpayers' money, she claimed.

Hall Findlay joined Hamilton for the remainder of his Saturday campaigning.

So John ..have you seen Peter MacKay in your travels lately? Is he campaigning anywhere that you know of? I myself haven't seen much of him except in news articles for years.
