RCMP Lower Sackville investigate theft of four vehicles

Four males face numerous charges after stealing four motor vehicles.

On Feb. 23, 2014, at approximately 9:00 p.m., the RCMP in Lower Sackville responded to a call of theft of two motor vehicles at a used car lot on Sackville Drive. Upon arrival at the location the RCMP identified that the culprits had stolen four vehicles and crashed through a closed gate.  

One vehicle was recovered in Upper Sackville and one 20 year old male from Halifax was taken into custody. He will appear in court later today facing numerous charges.  

A second vehicle stolen from the lot was recovered in Truro, Nova Scotia, and five males were arrested.  Three of the males ranging in age from 17 - 19 were held for court facing numerous charges.    

The RCMP continue to investigate the thefts and look for the remaining two vehicles.
