To the editor,

Well it was just a matter of time until the Liberal government showed their true colours by the appointment of Glennie Langille to the office of protocol. She was the defeated candidate in the provincial election. Now if a fair hiring was done the job should have been posted and everyone given a fair chance to apply for it. But no, Stephen McNeil used his power as premier to make the appointment of the Liberal and a losing one at that after saying that it was time for a change to the way government does things in the province.

So I would say that this is the start of other things to come. So with that said we will have to wait and see what comes next.

Mr. Murray. Hopefully one of the other things to come is legislation for the complete amalgamation of Pictou County.

I see Loyd is so still in denial his NDP got booted out that he forgot to mention that Dexter just bumped up an early Christmas present to his 14 staffers who lost their jobs by an extra $250,000 to the total of $850,000. No need even to list all the cuts and taxes and boondoggles and patronage they lfet us with. He is right in one respect, it won't take long for the Liberals to get back to the trough for their entitlements. Kiss Canada goodbye forever if the people fall for and elect either Trudeau or Mulclair. You were warned on the true colours of the ndp, and maybe Justin can pay off that $206 billion debt he left to Mulroney and Canada upon leaving office?

Hello Lloyd so glad to see that you are recovering from the election night shock where all three of your party members were turfed by the intelligent voters of Pictou County. First up I must reveal that I am no fan of the new Liberal government . So far their promises have been shown to be beyond their ability to deliver. However in fairness s that can be said of all political parties. I must however point out that the N.D.P is not above appointing party members to plum jobs when the occasion present's it'self. Shortly after the 2009 election and one of the first actions of the new premier Dexter he appointed the son of the previous leader of both the provincial and Federal N.D.P. to the Halifax Board of Trade at theat time a +$100 grand a year job. That person was none other than Mr. Peter Mcdonough son of Alexia Mcdonough. Subsequent reports as to his contributions and abilities were not favorable and will no doubt be removed by this new government. Just to warn you that more appointments are in the works as you know, or should know to the victor goes the spoils. Have a nice day Lloyd.
