To the editor,
Premier Stephen McNeil and Environment Minister Randy Delorey have demonstrated real and necessary leadership in the recent announcements regarding the Abercrombie Mill and Boat Harbour.
For too long the province of Nova Scotia has been propping up this business with taxpayers’ money and the citizens have been left to deal with the ill effects of the pollution. We applaud this government for their position on this situation. Maybe now we can begin to envision the day when the Mill and Boat Harbour are finally cleaned up and restored. On behalf of the Pictou County Watershed Coalition… thank you.
