To the editor,
It seems as if there was an epiphany on Provost Street that will deliver Pictou County to the pinnacle of success in municipal development.
I am totally amazed by the vision which was delivered by the mayor of the Town of New Glasgow – with the town described as the worst place to live in Canada – to be the great Napoleon to lead us into victory in these tough economic times. To know that the provincial government was about to withdraw from the funding of the governance study and have a plan in place within days is truly amazing.
Who in their administration wrote the Memorandum of Understanding, which seems to be the road to harmony and togetherness? Such a visionary should come forward and receive the accolades they deserve.
I would love to meet personally the author of this tremendous plan and work with them. I am awe-inspired by someone who possesses such great wisdom and foresight. I would like to see the details of this blueprint for economic and municipal advancement. Perhaps a provincial government leader such as the premier of Nova Scotia could learn a great deal from this individual or group to set the province on the road to prosperity.
