Much kind support in bid to keep LORDA open

To the editor,

LORDA Park and the Board of Directors wish to thank the media for their excellent assistance and coverage in getting the park reopened for use by the seniors and disabled and all participants who use the park.

The park is open to everyone, the only exception being fishing is restricted to seniors (55 and up) and disabled of any age.

We also wish to thank the provincial, municipal and federal governments for their contributions and assistance, in this very worthwhile cause. We also salute our many volunteers and donors who made this possible. Thanks a lot.
