I saw this accident happin the suv was driving for the weather it happined when the driver steered to the left to avoid the car that lost control trying to pass the suv. The driver of the suv put him self in harms way to avoid being hit by another car. the driver of the suv is very lucky to be alive as he went over the gardrail down a embankment and landed upside down on the road. Thank you for your comment Robbie. I too am very glad that my Dad was not hurt given the fact that the truck flipped over the guard rail and landed on the ice and rocks.

I wanted to say a special thanks to all of those who stopped to help my uncle yesterday in this accident. As well, thanks to I Saw It Happen From NS for their comments on what happened. Our family is very thankful and blessed that he wasn't hurt badly. And that is what counts!!

If you lose control of your vehicle, you're ARE driving too fast for the road conditions, even if trying to avoid an accident. A driver should be able to safely maneuver their vehicle to avoid a collision if they are driving according to the road conditions.

Thankfully quick thinking by the SUV driver made sure no one else was hurt.

I also wanted to say a thank you to all those who helped my uncle yesturday. I am so relieved that he is ok, considering he was avoiding hitting someone else who was losing control and then went over the guardrail. Thank goodness he is ok and thanks again to everyone! It means everything to our family.

Every time there is an accident we have to hear from people like watcher, were you there ? do you know these people were going too fast? maybe they were going the right speed and just lost control. It is possible you know, .I am just so tired of people judging everything. Just be glad no one was killed .Hope everyone is ok
