Four students from the New Glasgow Karate Club's junior class took home three medals apiece from a recent tournament held in Halifax. From left are: Francesca Turner, Riley Walsh, Madison Walsh and Jason Pelley.The students brought home gold, silver and bronze in individual and team kata and sparring. The New Glasgow Karate Club has been holding gradings. The gradings have been ongoing in the junior class and in the adult class there have been several belts awarded over the past few weeks. Green belts were awarded to Josh Klum and Joyce Chisholm. Orange belts were awarded to Lexie Trevors and Jason Pelley. Yellow belts were awarded to Brenda Scully, Aaron Pelley, Shawn Swallow and Rebecca MacLean. SUBMITTED
