Peewee A Crushers swept by Bearcats

TRENTON – Over the weekend the Pictou County peewee A Crushers would lose back-to-back games against the Truro Bearcats.

The first game saw the Bearcats skate away with a 9-2 win over the Crushers. Scoring for the Crushers were Ben MacDonald and Clark Robertson with assists attributed to Ian MacDonald, Marcus MacIvor and Cairan Boone.

The second game in Trenton saw the Crushers take an early 3-2 lead, but the Bearcats would eventually come back and win 5-3. Scoring for the Crushers were Munro MacKay with a goal and assist, Jacob Roper and Ian MacDonald. Assists were attributed to Luke Sheehan, Ben MacDonald and Marcus MacIvor.
