North Nova defeats J.H. Gillis in boys basketball

NEW GLASGOW – Tuesday night the North Nova boys basketball team won their first game of the season, 49-47 over Dr. J.H. Gillis Regional High School. Campbell DeMont and Rene Amit scored 13 points each to lead the team. Connor MacGillivray added eight points and Daniel Johnson chipped in with seven.
