X-Men hockey loses back-to-back games

ANTIGONISH – The St. FX mens hockey team struggled over the weekend, losing back-to-back home games to UNB and UPEI.

On Friday night the No. 2 ranked V-Reds defeated St. FX 5-2. Scoring for the X-Men were Jarrad Struthers and Josh Day. Drew Owsley made 32 saves in the loss.

Saturday against UPEI the X-Men lost 3-2. Brennen Wray and Cory MacIntosh scored for St. FX, while Joseph Perricone made 26 saves in the loss.

The X-Men are next in action Jan. 18 on the road against Dalhousie.
