Peewee A Crushers split weekend

PICTOU COUNTY – The Pictou County peewee A Crushers had a loss and a win over the weekend in their series against the Western Valley Spartans.

In the first game the Spartans defeated the Crushers 5-4.  Isaac MacDonald led the Crushers with two goals and two assists, while Munro Mackay and Braydon MacDonald each had one. Carson Ripoll had three assists and Luke Sheehan had one. Drew Murphy was solid in goal in his first game back after a 7-week layoff due to injury.

In the second game, the Crushers won 2-0. Goal scorers were Braydon MacDonald and Ian MacDonald. Ben MacDoanld had two assists while Marcus MacIvor and Cairan Boone had one each. Tyler Watters recorded the shoutout.

The Crushers play again on Friday evening at the Summerside Credit Union Place in the P.E.I. Police Association's Peewee A Tournament.
