The Thorburn Goldenhawks Peewee B are shown with their silver medals from the 8th Annual Audrey McDonald Memorial Tournament held in Thorburn during the past weekend. They defeated teams from Eastern Shore, Chebucto and West Hants to face Cole Harbour for the gold medal. The home team provided a real "nail-biter" game for the crowd - tying up the score near the end of the third period. Five minutes of sudden-death left the score unchanged and the fans on the edge of their seats until a shoot-out determined the winner. SUBMITTED
