Dacey drops curling semifinal to Murphy

TRURO - It will be Lakeshore Curling Club's Jamie Murphy taking on Paul Flemming in the final draw at the Nova Scotia men's provincial championships today.

Murphy beat out Mark Dacey of the Mayflower Curling Club on Saturday 10-6 after nine ends.

Dacey flashed both shots to give up four in the sixth end, which gave Murphy an 8-4 lead.

Dacey was able to steal one with a measurement in the eighth, but Murphy grabbed two in the ninth to call it a game.

The final game is scheduled for 2 p.m. at the Truro Curling Club today.
