Miners win silver in Thorburn

The Westville atom B Miners won silver at the 16th Annual Aaron Blackwood tournament, despite the blizzard of 2013 the tournament went on, with some great games. Westville played the top ranked team from the Halifax area, the Bedford Blues in the championship. The final saw the Miners out shoot the Blues by a 3-to-1 ratio, but great goaltending held them in the game with the Blues winning 5-3.
