TRENTON – Two Albion Amateur Boxing Club members recently returned from their trip to the United States where they took part in a pair of bouts each.

Brady MacDonald won his first bout of the trip in Canton, Ohio, in a unanimous decision. In his second bout on Saturday in Pittsburgh he lost a close match.

The other boxer on the trip was Shania MacPhee. She took part in an exhibition bout against Vanica MacQuinn on Friday before losing her bout in Pittsburgh on Saturday.

Head coach from the club, Jim Worthen, said the bouts will prove to be valuable experience for them as they continue their boxing careers.
