Atom AA Crushers defeat Axemen

PICTOU COUNTY - The Pictou County atom AA Crushers traveled to Kentville on Sunday to play the league leading Acadia Axemen. The Crushers came away with a convincing 5-1 victory. Goal scorers were Thomas Devine with a hat-trick and Evan Shea with two other Pictou County goals. Shea also two assists, while Devine, Ryan Green and MacLean Tobin each had one. Tyler Matchem was in goal for the Crushers with the win. The Crushers now host the league play downs, to determine the provincial qualifiers, this weekend at the Pictou County Wellness Centre.
