PICTOU COUNTY - The Ballantyne Fuels Peewee AAA Crushers kicked off their six-team tournament Friday with a fast paced game against the South Shore Sharks at the John Brother MacDonald Stadium.

The tournament is a qualifier with the top two teams advancing to provincials in Sackville in March. The Pictou County Crushers are seeded third behind the Truro Bearcats and the Acadia Axemen.

The games will be split between the John Brother MacDonald Stadium and the Pictou County Wellness Centre.

 

Saturday

8:30 a.m. Antigonish vs. Western Valley (Wellness Centre – BA)

10 a.m. Acadia vs. South Shore (Wellness Centre – BA)

11:30 a.m. Pictou County vs. Truro (Wellness Centre – BA)

1:30 p.m. Antigonish vs. Acadia (JBM)

3 p.m. Truro vs. South Shore (JBM)

4:30 p.m. Western Valley vs. Pictou County (JBM)

Sunday

9 a.m. Provincial qualifier (Wellness Centre – BA)

10:30 a.m. Provincial qualifier (Wellness Centre – BA)
