Peewee A Selects tie, lose

TRENTON - A goal by Shaylyn Bona in the third period of Sunday's game allowed the Pictou County Subway Selects peewee A to live another day in playoff action against the Glace Bay Miners.

The peewee A's lost 5-0 to Glace Bay Saturday, but came back with a strong 1-1 tie Sunday. The first team to get to four points wins the playoff series and so far Glace Bay has three points and Pictou County has one.

The Subway Selects will travel to Glace Bay on Saturday.
