The two final games of the round robin were played on Wednesday night with the first game having Doc's Demons defeating the Acropole Blues 5-3.

Scoring for the winners were Jason O'Donnell, Mark MacDonald, Ken Gordon, Jason MacKay and last minute call-up Al Fraser.

"It's good to get out with the young fellas," Fraser said between Gatorades after the game, "I'm just glad there's not another period."

Blue's goals came from Mark Bannerman (2) and Mark Jordon.

The second game of the night saw Bestway beat Highland 9-6.

Goal scorers for the Black Hawks were Colin MacKenzie (2),Chris MacDonald (2),Chris Goyette, Kevin MacKenzie, Ricky Wright, Mark Dobson and Lou Smith.

Nissan's goals came from Jim Whitehead (2),Robbie MacNaughton, Blaine Murray, Delbert Brown and Norm Seymour.

The best of three playoffs between the Bestway Black Hawks and the Acropole Blues start on Sunday at 7:30 p.m.
