Bantam rec Maripacs end regular season with win

PICTOU - The Pictou Maripacs Bantam Rec team ended its regular season with a 9-1 win over the Thorburn Goldenhawks.

Goal scorers for the Maripacs included Matthew Williams (2), Riley MacDonald (2), Tanner Duplessis (2), Cole Carruthers, Kevin Forbes and Cody Battist.

Keighan Martin scored the lone goal for the Goldenhawks.

The Maripacs will be taking part in a tournament in Debert March 22-24.
