Storm defeats Attack

PICTOU COUNTY - The Nova North peewee major AAA Storm won their exhibition game against the Cape Breton Attack 3-2 on Sunday at the Pictou County Wellness Centre.

Oliver Schnare opened the scoring late in the first with assists to Kevin Mason and Tyler Green. Mason Hawley scored the Storm's second goal assisted by Oliver Schnare and Jake Martin. The Attack answered with one of their own, but Kevin Mason brought the team up 3-1 when he scored with just 25 seconds left in the third assisted by Jaden Mason and Alex Hilchey.

The Storm had combined efforts of Andrew MacLeod and Mitchell Cummer in goal. The Storm will begin their regular season in a tournament in Moncton in April.
