Peewee A Crushers handed first loss

BROOKFIELD - Sunday afternoon in Brookfield the peewee A Crushers suffered their first loss of the season coming up on the short end of a 5-2 score against the Elks.

The game was tied 2-2 entering the third period of play but the Crushers faded under the intense forecheck of the Brookfield squad. 

Scoring for Brookfield were Brody Taylor (2) Ben Fraser, Will Dingle and Calem McAndrew.

Replying for the Crushers were Munro MacKay and Luke Young with assists going to Evan Shea, Logan Decoste, Brody Bowering and Bailey Mackay.

Duncan Cameron was named player of the game for the Crushers.
