NEW GLASGOW- In weekend peewee A action the Crushers took both ends of a home-and-home against the Antigonish Bulldogs.

Pictou County won 6-3 on Saturday at the Wellness Centre and 5-0 in the return engagement at the Antigonish Arena on Sunday afternoon. 

Scoring in Saturday’s contest were: Duncan Cameron, Munro Mackay, Ian MacDonald, Bailey Pye, Luke Young and Marcus MacIvor. Assists went to: Owen Baird, Bailey MacKay, Blake Fraser, Thomas Devine, MacDonald and Cameron.

On Sunday afternoon Cameron led the way with two goals, with singles going to Munro MacKay, Evan Shea, and Devine. Ian MacDonald picked up two assists, while Devine and Fraser added individual assists. 

The home team now sits comfortably in second place in the five-team Fundy/Highland Peewee A League behind Truro with Cumberland, Brookfield and Antigonish rounding out the standings.
