J.P. Harvey joined the Pictou County Weeks Crushers last week after being traded from the Summerside Western Capitals. He had an assist in each of his first two games after putting up 10 goals and 22 points in 20 games with the Capitals. Harvey was happy about the move and hopes to help the organization advance to a Fred Page Cup.

NEW GLASGOW – The Weeks Crushers took two of the three stars this week in the MHL.
Mitchell Deruelle was named the first star, with recent acquisition JP Harvey receiving second star honours.
In three games last week Deruelle had four goals and three assists, increasing his totals to 14 goals and 18 assists in 29 games.

Harvey had two goals and four points in their three games, including his first goal as a Crusher on Thursday night in their 5-3 victory over the Valley Wildcats.
