Weeks Crushers fall to 19th in first CJHL rankings of 2014

CALGARY – Playing only one game this week before the CJHL rankings were released, the Pictou County Weeks Crushers dropped two spots from to 19th in the nation.

Pictou County defeated the CIBC Wood Gundy Lumberjacks 5-3 on Saturday to open 2014 with a victory and push their win streak to six games. Their last loss was Nov. 30 against the Amherst Ramblers.

The Crushers have been steadily falling each week in the CJHL Top 20 rankings, despite continuing to be the top team in the MHL, although they are the only MHL team with any mention this week.
