Peewee A Crushers split road games

ANTIGONISH – Weekend action for the Pictou County peewee A Crushers saw a split of road games. 

First in Amherst the local team fell 3-2 to the Cumberland Ramblers.

Ian MacDonald and Luke Young scored for Pictou County, with assists to Duncan Cameron and Blake Fraser.

On Sunday afternoon they travelled to Antigonish to take on the struggling Bulldogs and came away with a 6-2 win.

Goaltender Aiden Robinson held the fort to garner player of the game honors.

Leading the Scoring in the 6-2 win were: MacDonald (2), Munro MacKay, Brody Bowering, Young and Cameron. Assists were handed out to Bowering, Cameron (2) and Logan Decoste.

Next weekend the peewee A Crushers will take part in the Antigonish Automobile Dealers Association “A” Tournament.
