Coach Shane Cormier said he thought the game at North Nova Education Centre went really well.

“I’m very happy with the defence.”

In their last three games, they took first-half leads and failed to follow through, Cormier said.

During halftime, Cormier told them to keep it up.

Their season had a strong start, but took a “skid” with the last three games.

“We’re hoping for a strong finish,” Cormier said.

He’s pleased New Glasgow Junior High invited them to the tournament.

“It’s two local teams from two different divisions. It’d be nice to match up with them.”

He noted New Glasgow won their first game and he hopes they’ll meet up either in one of the consolation games or the final.
