Scotsburn Major Bantam Crushers

NEW GLASGOW – The Scotsburn Major Bantam Crushers lost a pair of games over the weekend, 5-3 on the road Saturday before a 4-1 loss at home on Sunday.

Nolan Emery, Kevin Mason and Oliver Schnare scored for Scotsburn against the Newbridge Senators on Saturday in their 5-3 loss. Newbridge scored three unanswered goals in the final 12:28 of the third to take the lead and eventually the game.

Tyler Howe made 31 saves in their loss.

Sunday at home the Breton Sport Cougars got up 1-0 just 4:02 into the game and held onto their lead for the whole game as Schnare had the lone Crushers goal.

Howe made 28 saves in Sunday’s loss.
