NRHS split final regular season weekend

WESTVILLE – The NRHS boy’s hockey team went into their playoff opener last night with a win in their final regular season game of the year.

Saturday they defeated East Hants 3-2 in overtime at home.

Scoring for NRHS were: Luke MacDonald, Jordan Wheeler and Brandon Livingstone. Jeff Skinner, Josh Langille and Evan Ferguson picked up assists while Kyle MacKenzie was between the pipes for the win.

A night earlier the Nighthawks fell 6-1 to North Nova.

The lone goal for NRHS was scored unassisted by Brandon Livingstone. Brennan Snell was in goal.

The Nighthawks began their playoff series with Amherst last night. They host Amherst for Game 2 Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. Admission is $4 for adults and free for students who present their student ID.
