Peewee AAA Crushers split home-and-home with Sharks

NEW GLASGOW – This past weekend the Ballantyne Fuels peewee AAA Crushers had home-and-home exhibition games against the South Shore Sharks, splitting the weekend.

Saturday afternoon at the Wellness Centre the Crushers came out with a 5-4 victory. Scoring for Pictou County were: Connor MacLeod, Blake Kontuk, Zach Houston (2), and Kade Mason.

Earning assists were: Houston, Spencer Creed, Brayden MacDonald (2), Kontuk and Joe McCarron (2). Brayden Leblanc was between the pipes.

On Sunday, in Bridgewater, the Crushers could not get anything going and fell 6-1. Scoring the lone goal was McCarron, assisted by Mason. Keigan Walker was between the pipes.

The next action for the Crushers is this weekend when they participate in the Nova Scotia Mainland League Tournament in Bridgewater.
