Weeks Crushers captain Nick Parker was named the MHL's first star for the week ending March 2.
In three games, the 20-year-old registered six points as the Crushers went unbeaten on the week.
At home on Thursday night, Parker racked up a pair of assists in his team’s 4-2 victory over the Valley Wildcats.
On Friday night in Bridgewater, he scored twice and added an assist as the Crushers downed the Lumberjacks 5-1.
Back home on Saturday night, Parker fired home the game-winning goal with under seven minutes remaining in the third period and was named the first star of the contest in Pictou County’s 3-2 win over the Campbellton Tigers.

The third year MHL veteran is currently riding an eight game point streak and sits in fourth place overall in the league scoring race with 64 points in 51 games.
Colton Parsons of the Dieppe Commandos was named the second star, while Ryan Groom of the Bridgewater Lumberjacks was the third star.
