North Nova Stars drop Cole Harbour and Dartmouth

NEW GLASGOW – Over the weekend the peewee Tier 2 North Nova Stars won two games in Atlantic Hockey Group spring hockey action at the Wellness Centre. 

The Stars won the first game 12-0 over Cole Harbour with Scott Long and Blake Fraser leading the way with three goals apiece.

Aaren MacDonald scored two goals, while Munro MacKay had two goals and two assists. Ryan Farrell and Ian MacDonald had a goal apiece. Broden DeCoff picked up two assists.

The Stars defeated Dartmouth 5-2 in their second game of the weekend. MacKay, Long, Farrell, Fraser and Clark Robertson scored for North Nova.

Ian MacDonald, Fraser, Farrell and MacKay each had assists.

The Stars travel to Halifax next Sunday to play two games at the Halifax Forum.
