Locals compete at Canadian Motocross series Atlantic stop

SALISBURY - Riders of the Birch Hill MX Park Team raced on amateur day at the Atlantic stop of the Canadian Motocross National Series held in Salisbury, N.B. at the Riverglade MX track on Aug. 2.

Seth Gallant rode to an eighth place finish in the 50cc (7-8 year old) class. Nole Chapman raced to a third place finish in the 65cc class and a fourth place finish in the 85cc (7-11 year old) class.

Brent Chapman finished 13th overall in the 65cc class and 16th overall in the 85cc. Gage Wallace finished 14th overall in 85cc (7-11 year old) class. Brandon Daling rode to a fourth place finish in the super-mini class and 13th overall in the school boy class on his 125cc bike.

Samantha Daling had a third place finish in the junior ladies class. Adam Hilling finished 16th overall in the school boy class, while David Butler earned a seventh place finish overall in the intermediate MX1 class.

The Birch Hill MX Park Team will be heading to Pleasant Valley Motorsport Park in Brookfield, N.S. to race this weekend.
