Matthew Thomas of the Scotsburn Bantam AAA Crushers got things to an early lead during Saturday morning's action at the Trenton Rink. Action began Friday night for the 26th Annual Memorial hockey tournament held in honour of the Shawn MacKay, John Allan MacDonald, Donald Gladwin and Lee Marie MacKay who lost their lives in a tragic car accident on their way home from a tournament in February 1984. Pictou County defeated Sackville 6-0 and Cape Breton County 3-2.
