I think that Roddie Mac Neil should be the choice, for our winner. He was a wonderful performer and was always there to lend a helping hand when it came to singing for a cause. The Be Bops were a well liked band in Pictou County.

I would like to nominate my late father Roddie Mac Neil for the nomination. I have never heard anything my dad played as I was only four when he passed away. I would have loved to hear something he played by himself and with the band he played in The Beebops. I am now 45 years old and it may not mean much to anyone else but he was my dad and I figure I can nominate him for being a great man..thank you very much..p.s. if anyone has any music that my dad played I would love to hear it..thanks again..

I think that Roddie Mac Neil from the Be Bops, should be selected for the hall of fame award. He taught people all over the county to play guitar,as many today can testify to that. He started as a young lad winning many singing competitions all over Pictou County. It's just a shame that he isn't here with us,I'm sure he would be one of P.C. most famous artist today.
