HALIFAX - Nova Scotians can expect to pay more today to get married, get a driver's licence or go fishing.
The province has announced most of its 1,400 user fees and charges will go up by three per cent, generating about $5.2 million in new revenues.
For example a marriage licence will cost $119.39, up from $115.91.
While the increase will affect most fees for services, licensing and regulatory functions offered by departments, school boards and health boards will not be affected.
