Pet Valu, which stocks specialty pet foods, treats, toys and grooming tools, has plans to begin construction in the West Side Plaza in early 2016. The store will also feature a self-serve dog wash.
Pet Valu has 16 locations in Nova Scotia and another 10 in the rest of the Atlantic provinces. The company has more than 600 stores in Canada and the United States.
